Glorious yet almost unknown to tourists, Argyll is a magnificent corner of south-west Scotland with much to offer walkers and their dogs. Dogs and their owners will enjoy walking parts of the towpath alongside the Crinan Canal. The towpath stretches from Ardrishaig to Crinan for nine miles, perhaps too far for dogs and possibly their owners too, but the walk can easily be broken up into several lovely shorter walks.
